A first look at Rachel Zegler’s Snow White look has been revealed, and here’s how it compares to the Disney animated classic.

The latest Disney classic to get the live-action treatment is White as snow, starring Rachel Zegler, and the first look at her costume has been released – but how does it compare to the Disney animated classic? One trend that continues to gain strength in the film industry is live-action versions of animated films, and Disney has taken full advantage of this by bringing some of its animated classics to life, albeit not always successfully. After the success of CruelDisney is once again focusing on its princesses with the live-action version of the movie that started it all: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

VIDEO OF THE DAY

According to the tale of the Brothers Grimm, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was released in 1937 and was not only Disney’s first animated film, but also the first traditional animated feature film, so it holds an important place in the history of cinema. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is now a classic not only of Disney but of cinema in general and is the most famous adaptation of the Grimm Brothers tale. Now, after numerous live-action versions of the original tale from various studios, Disney joins the roster with a live-action adaptation of its animated version, with Marc Webb as director, Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson as screenwriter, Gal Gadot playing the Evil Queen and Rachel Zegler as the main character.

Just like the animated version, White as snow will be a musical, and after some delays due to the coronavirus pandemic, filming finally began in March 2022. While no official image has yet been released, set photos showing Snow White’s costume from Zegler have now been shared online, revealing that she will have a look very close to that of the animated film. Zegler’s Snow White costume has the same vibrant color scheme as the animated version, with blue, white, yellow, and red, and the silhouette of the dress is about the same, with a long skirt fluid, puffed sleeves, a square neckline, and the classic white collar.

Smaller details like the red parts on the sleeve are also present in Zegler’s Snow White costume, but there are also many other small details that are different. Zegler’s costume has red stitching on the upper part of the dress, including the white collar, the front part is like a corset and can be adjusted, and Zegler’s dress appears to have a thin blue belt with a buckle with a special design, which could be related to the family of Snow White, in one way or another. The biggest difference from the animated version of Snow White is that Zegler’s costume has long blue sleeves, while the anime only had short, puffy sleeves. As for the rest of Zegler’s Snow White look, the photos show her between scenes, so her hair isn’t ready, but the cut is also reminiscent of the animated movie, as well as her makeup, with Snow White. characteristic red lips.

It should be noted, however, that Zegler’s Snow White dress might not look as bright in the film due to how the colors translate to the camera and filters and light production might be used. , so even if it looks costumed in these photos, the final product will most likely look different. Yet the suit for the White as snow The live-action version is very faithful to that of the animated classic, which will surely help the project to attract the attention of those who particularly love the Disney animated film.
