His keen sense of the action hero has improved over the years

Perhaps one of the reasons Reeves’ run as an action hero has become so legendary is his physical commitment. The actor probably recovered from his lull in the mid-1990s due to his willingness to perform as many stunts himself as possible. This is certainly an integral part of his work in the John wick movies. According to Initiated, Reeves trained with a company called Taran Tactical for his lead role in the 2017s. John Wick: Chapter 2.

While the actor trained a lot for the original film, he looked set to take it to the next level for the sequel. Reeves handled a lot of guns in The matrix trilogy too. However, while The matrix so many martial arts, the “gun fu” of John wick requires a greater focus on firearms.

In fact, The matrix 4 – directed by Lana Wachowski – will be released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max on December 22, 2021.

As for John Wick, the Master Assassin will be back on the big screen in May 2022 when John Wick: Chapter 4 is released. A fifth installment of the franchise is also already in preparation. Maybe Reeves can deal with Wick’s various weapons even better by the time fans can check out these sequels.
