Kim posted a heartfelt message on Instagram following the death of the founder of Off-White. In the caption, she expressed her inability to understand how someone as incredible as Virgil could pass away so early in her life. She also shared a carousel of images, including one with Kim, Virgil, Kim Kanye West’s ex-husband, Kourtney Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Another was that of Kim and Virgil’s wife, Shannon Abloh. In addition to founding Off-White, Virgil was Louis Vuitton’s first black art director and the creator of a few Kanye album covers.
It’s certainly not the first time Kim has posted her daughter on social media. Kim even made a bunch of cute TikToks with North. Video shows the two riding a go-kart together on their way to the park. Another shows the mother and daughter singing Adele’s hit song, “Easy on Me,” as Kim wraps her arms around North. Fans get to see Kim and North’s life from a different perspective with TikTok, such as one that includes Kourtney’s daughter, Penelope Disick, in the background. The same TikTok also features Kim and North roaming the neighborhood in their kart again, which they seem to like to do together.
Kim posted a carousel of photos, including one where she and North are both dressed in black and walking on a pink carpet, from Virgil’s last show. Kim wears long black pants, a quilted waistcoat, and a pair of sunglasses, while North wears a jersey with long shorts, rainbow socks, black boots, and her own sunglasses. The founder of KKW Beauty also posted a few photos from the night and captioned it all with a bunch of emojis including the tornado and the rainbow. The last slide features the quote, “There is nothing more precious than time,with Virgil’s name below. Swedish singer Snoh Aalegra commented on Pink Hearts under Kim’s post.
While Kim and North are very close, and Kim posts a lot with her older daughter, there was a TikTok moment that she didn’t approve of. North went live to give a tour of their home, which included Sing 2 apparently rented decorations for the day, their Christmas tree and what appeared to be her bedroom. North then entered Kim’s bedroom, where she could be seen relaxing in her bed while scrolling through her phone, and announced that she was live. Kim didn’t seem too happy about it and the stream ended shortly after. Unfortunately for Kim, fans had already recorded the stream and streamed it to the internet.
Kim and North both looked great in the shared post. the Keeping up with the Kardashianss The star’s tribute to Virgil was heartbreaking, but what she shared from her last show seemed like a celebration of her life. He had a real impact on the fashion industry, and his work will continue to live on. As for Kim and North, hopefully fans will see more of the mother-daughter duo both on social media and at Kardashian’s upcoming Hulu show.
