Predator Prequel Film Prey Gets an R Rating for Loud, Bloody Violence
Predator lovers are gearing up as the next film in the franchise has received an R rating from the Motion Picture Association (GPA), which means it does not retain blood or gore.
This one is definitely not for the faint of heart.
Prey earned the highest age rating due to its “bloody violence”, a far cry from its PG-13 rating for the Alien vs Predator film.
If director Dan Trachtenberg promised us bloody violence, bloody violence is exactly what we demand.
The ten Cloverfield way the director also teased that the upcoming science fiction the film will be a “different breed” of Predator film, taking us 300 years into the past.
By speaking with Comic.book.com, Trachtenberg said, “I think our Predator in my mind, not only does it exist, you know, 300 years before, but I think in science fiction In film terms, time passes very slowly.
“If the way star wars functions or even star trek, you know, it’s like 300 years. The ships are suddenly not so different.
He added that even ‘inflexible‘fans of the franchise couldn’t predict what the future film has in store for us.
He said: “But I think this guy might be from a different hemisphere of the planet and a bit of a different race.
