STX Films has made some changes to its 2022 release schedule: The Burbank, CA-studio will open supernatural horror Bed rest July 15 while Guy Ritchie’s Operation Fortune: Ruse of War and The contractor go a little later in the spring.

The Lori Evans Taylor directed Bed rest stars Melissa Barrera as Julie Rivers, a pregnant woman who moves into a new home with her husband as they make a fresh start. After being ordered to stay in compulsory bed, Julie begins to slowly unravel as she suffers from the monotony and anxiety of her new constraints. Soon, terrifying ghostly experiences at home begin to close in on Julie, stoking her past demons and causing others to question her mental stability. Trapped and forced to confront her past and the supernatural, Julie fights to protect herself and her unborn baby. Bed rest is the second wide release dated July 15 next year after Sony’s High-speed train.

Operation Fortune: Ruse of War, originally dated January 21, 2022 is moved to March 18, 2022. The film moves away from Universal Redeeming love, and heads to a new setting where he faces off against Lionsgate’s The unbreakable boy and tuning features’ Downton Abbey: a new era. In Operation Fortune, super spy Orson Fortune (Jason Statham) must hunt down and stop the sale of deadly new weapon technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant). Reluctantly teaming up with some of the world’s best agents (Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone), Fortune and his team recruit Hollywood’s biggest movie star, Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett) to help them on their mission to globetrotter infiltration to save the world.

This will push STX’s other action thriller The contractor from March 18 to April 1. The contractor will now open up against Universal’s Jimmy O. Yang-Jo Koy movie Easter Sunday. The Connection Line for the STX movie directed by Tarik Saleh which stars Chris Pine, Ben Foster, Kiefer Sutherland, Eddie Marsan and Gillian Jacobs: friend (Foster) and under the command of another veteran (Sutherland) in order to provide for the needs of his family. Abroad on a secret mission, Harper must escape those who attempt to kill him while returning home.
